About two weeks ago, I left the US. I left Geneva, HWS, my friends, my whole life there. It's only been two weeks that I'm gone yet I'm already about to start a new journey as I'm moving back to London tonight. It was a very short transition but I feel ready – maybe it's just that I'm used to change places and evironments so often now...

But still it is hard to get my head around the fact that I'll never have my life in Geneva again... It's over, gone. Just like the life I had in Australia and the one I had in Ireland. I used to define all these experiences as different ''lives'' in themselves but now I've changed my perspective and realised that instead, all these experiences or ''lives'' actually constitute my life. Yes, this, is my life. I'm not interested in settling (for now), I'm free as a bird, I have the luxury to be able to choose wherever I want to go, wherever I want to work, wherever I want to live. I'm aware of how lucky I am but the expression ''hard work pays off'' also makes all its sense for me today...

It's hard to gather my thoughts and feelings about my year in the US because this experience taught me so much and it was hands down the most thrilling, rewarding and inspiring adventure of my life. I have grown so much and I have changed my vision on life, on the future and on many other aspects. I have had the chance to meet amazing and stimulating people from so many diffrent cultures and backgrounds and they inspired me a lot. I was so lucky to evolve and grow in such an exhilarating atmosphere.

Before coming here, I dreaded being in a small isolated place very much as I had been used to live in bigger cities in the past couple of years. But when I arrived I quickly realised that, even though Geneva certainly isn’t a big city, it’s an active place where there’s always something going on. The community there is strong and dynamic. And not to mention that it's an ABSOLUTELY gorgeous area at any season and not matter how the weather is like – I took sooo many pictures of the sky and the lake throughout the year.

My heart is bursting with joy thinking about all the people I've met and all the amazing memories I've made these past 10 months and that I will cherish my entire life. I am so thankful for this year that tremendously changed me, for the best.

I will be back someday because they say ''home is where the heart is'' and I've left a piece of my heart in Geneva, like I left a piece of my heart in Sydney, in Dublin and in London. I'm so lucky I can call so many places home.
